The one thing I remember from the book was that if youâre traveling with your husband, never give directions or tell him youâre going the wrong way. How does being lost for hours help anything?
Because getting lost on the road may inconvenience you for a few hours, perhaps: but âgetting lostâ on the path of Perfect Christian Wifehood by presumptuously correcting oneâs Perfect Christian Husband will imperil your immortal soul, and those of all your family?
NOTE: I am being sarcastic here (partly) - but Iâm sure this exact argument has been - and will continue to be - made in all seriousness.
