At the risk of starting another food fight or being accused of being a magic balance fairy…..this is very true of the main stream republican party which seriously kowtow’s to the religious right. On the other hand it is equally difficult for a democrat to come out against increased taxes or debt reduction without suffering the same treatment from their party.
