I think that’s part of why he’s bitter. Guy isn’t even going down in history as the most famous Joe Walsh. A one term Tea Party refusing to pay child support hypocritical right wing dirtbag who was lucky to ride in on a wave of right wing resentment and lies to Congress.

Other Republicans lost in Illinois in 2012 because of gerrymandering (some of those loses will be put right this year, I assure you), but Walsh lost because he’s an asshole. He lost by more than 15%, because his words ands actions are so toxic. I don’t live in his district, but if I had in 2012 I would have voted for Duckworth as an act of political hygiene.
