The idea that someones job comptency is dirctly correlated to the amount of money they make is laughable.

But note this is an argument that only applies to certain professions. If you argue that a person working at the Wendy’s drive-thru should be able to earn enough to live comfortably, they act as if you’re advocating for a socialist coup.
