Speaking of Durbin, Scott Simon interviewed him this morning on the Paris Accord pullout. Simon reminded him that southern Illinois has many coal mines. Durbin: “yes, I’ve been in the mines several times. They now have technology that has replaced hundreds of men in extracting coal. This will put no one back to work in Illinois.” I really like Dick Durbin.
