My sister-in-law is “concerned” that accusations will go too far and there will be a massive backlash. I can’t imagine she’s right. It doesn’t strike me that there are a lot of men losing their jobs without good corroboration to their accusers’ stories.

I share that concern honestly. I think we will be seeing many more PV type scams now that the issue has been weaponized to take out powerful men. I do not kid myself that that is not the entire point of the sudden concern for the well-being of women in the workplace. But hey, I’ll take what we can get.
