Bush 2 I honestly feel was someone very wrong on policy and careless even but not someone who sought power above all else. That to me is the biggest difference between Trump and his predecessors. Trump is all about Trump. Bush was willing to listen to the other side without delegitimization.

W was also personable and could genuinely show care and empathy for others. Sometimes at least.
