I have always hated the prevent defense. Because after playing a whole game of in your face man D and not allowing a single point let’s just change it all up in the fourth quarter. Which invariably leads to the other team scoring, but hey you made them stay in the middle of the field and burn some clock so who cares if they are back in the game.
It always seemed smarter to me to run a ball/clock control offense than to run the prevent defense.
