Definitely, I see it. That’s why he’d rather be at Mar-a-Lago or Trump Towers. He knows that he doesn’t really belong in the WH. He’ll never be at ease there, esp. in these situations where he’s confronted with a genuinely competent statesperson. And, yes, there is the gender angle, too. Remember how he looked at HRC during the debates. He can’t stand strong women who don’t constantly praise him.
