Oh yeah. Northern Ohio has some great peaches especially all up around Lake Erie and south of that maybe 80 miles. It all depends on not getting too late a frost though. If they get to blossom and then bear fruit you can get a hell of a crop. And like the ones my father grew, they were small dark red skins almost maroon on top and then to a light red orange on the bottom.

Massive peach growing regions are East and North of us. This tower in Clanton might have been the inspiration for the storyline in House of Cards. (It was in pink primer for about a year, and the kids couldn’t go by it without laughing.)
