Actually, i don’t think CNN or FNC would care one bit about what a broadcast association thinks. Both stations go out over cable and satellite, so they are not ‘broadcast’ stations. Moreover, weirdos making a big DERPy splash draws people to watch a TV program. The newsnets are airing what people tend to watch.

CNN would care; they’re trying to position themselves as the quality, they’d rather we don’t think they’re the video version of biting the heads off live chickens.
