US oversees citizens can vote in US federal elections and owe federal income tax on income over $95,000/year. If these rights and responsibilities of citizenship still attach via signed and passed legislation beyond the US borders I fail to understand how it’s permissible for POTUS to target a citizen for assassination without any Judicial Branch oversight or involvement.
If just cause exists to target a citizen for killing, then the threshold for stripping them of citizenship first should already have been reached. As a simple safeguard against unilateral abuse this should be a prerequisite action and require the involvement of more than one branch of government.
