That’s not how it works, the lawsuits are going forward and the original EO will be ruled on as if it had never been amended.

The harm to States and specific individuals has already occurred, the animus and ill intent established. The Courts cannot simply allow the Administration to shake the etch-a-sketch and thus acquire an entirely new legal landscape. To allow them to repeatedly Memory Hole their mistakes without racking up legal rulings against them is a recipe for non-stop abuse of process.
