The WHCA dinner is one of those things that should always remind us that Washington is just Hollywood for ugly people. It’s basically the DC version of one of the masterbatory award shows that the entertainment industry insists on hoisting upon us

Agreed, the only time anyone hears about the WHCA is when they suck. Apart from giving away token scholarships I have never seen the organization do good for the journalism industry or the 1st Amendment one bit.

They should have invited Jim Acosta to be their speaker.
