I tend to use worldometers.info for my obsessive data needs, and lately they’ve been adding links to their state-level sources.
You call that obsessive? I managed to find (i.e. was pointed to) a couple of sites that give state level numbers over time so you can track trends:
Marc Pasila on tableau: allows you to pick states and compare trends. Has been a bit hinky lately.
Wade Fagen-Ulmschneider, computer scientist at U of Illinois: Allows you to pick trends one state at a time.
