I think a lot of people are missing the reality of the situation. This guy fits the “right wing extremist” label. The DHS memo was written because people like him. This is the kind of person who’s going to attempt to assassinate the President or go on a politically inspired killing spree.
When/if he does, he’s going to be linked to the Tea Parties and the Republicans. You can point at ACORN or claim that he’s an undercover leftist but people are only going to laugh at you. This is a very serious and potentially deadly problem with very serious political repercussions. The price for failing to alienate these people will be paid. That’s a fact.
