Not possible in our system, frankly.

In a parliamentary system, coalition building around particular issues is possible, and multiple parties can work. Here, in our winner-take-all system, it just never works out.

That’s a lot of what I have been trying to say off and on for years at LGF. If anyone, on any side, really examines what is happening in DC, there are not too many of these politicians that actually represent any of us down here… unless you are a blossoming white-collar corporate criminal, or have some selfish special interest in something.

The whole system has become a cesspool, and the occasional ideologue who manages to get a seat in one of the chambers is most frequently overcome by the fumes.
