Ugly politics makes perfect sense. People do ugly politics to gain advantage.

It doesn’t make it right.

But what makes you think Romney will not stoop as far or farther than Obama in this campaign? Romney’s already accused Obama of not loving or understanding America. You don’t need perfect hearing to detect that dog whistle.
