Cheerleaders don’t get up and shout “our team has only a one-in-three chance of winning this game!”

This was the problem when Karl Rove came out and criticized Christine O’Donnel as being “unelectable”. he had to walk it back, although it was true, because the GOP would have hung her loss on his statement and not on her unsuitability for public office.

But cheerleaders at least wear short skirts and smile nicely…

But the problem is that they trotted Rove out as an analyst, and then screamed when he gave them well-thought out analysis. Then the next time Rove gives them what they want to hear and now they’re screaming again.

It’s not mostly Karl Rove’s fault, but he should have stuck with the facts and accepted dismissal for speaking them rather than burn his credibility on a pyre of Burning Stupid.
