Oh, the idea makes perfect sense to me. I just can’t do math, and music doesn’t make me understand math any better. Music has always been an instinctive thing to me.

Maybe if I understood math better it would make me a better musician. OTOH, maybe giving up that part of my brain to store math would result in my understanding music less.

I know people who can read music, as well as people who have never read music but can tune a guitar in the middle of a song. Just one of those things, I suppose.
