It’s funny about that, though. They don’t have the video for some of those episodes, but they do have the audio. They’ve created animated versions of those episodes using the existing audio.

As another example, NASA recycled the media for the Apollo 11 mission (!) sometime in the Space Shuttle era. The original TV broadcast tapes, however, were archived and intact.
