The way things are shaping up, even if Kavanaugh is confirmed, odds are becoming better that it will be a 50/50 split with Pence casting the tie-breaking vote. The GOP are handling this whole thing in such a ham-fisted fashion that even red state Dems who felt pressured to vote for him in order to avoid looking like far-left kooks are openly reconsidering their votes.
