This news item has been making the rounds on Twitter, and I’m still a bit hazy on the back story, but it seems this young Saudi woman is seeking asylum because she fears her family will kill her if she returns home. Right now, she’s holed up in an airport hotel room, and the flight that she was going to be compelled to board has apparently left without her.
