I didn’t mean that in a hostile way at all. They’re different sorts of categories. dyke and whore are the names you get called, madonna/whore is sort of a functional category: splitting women’s sexual and reproductive functions apart from each other.

Which again, is why the wingnuts only freak about lesbians when they want to adopt. Suddenly those categories (sexual and reproductive) are united again and their heads explode.
