It’s not hard to knock down absolute and complete lies of the kind favored by the Koch’s and the GOP on the subject of AGW.

AGW is, and always has been, very simple:

1. CO2 traps heat in an atmosphere. This is easily demonstrable in a greenhouse or any number of other experiments.

2. The concentration of CO2 in the atmosphere is rising, in proportions that correlate closely with the amount of CO2 that mankind has been putting out into the atmosphere.

3. An increase in heat has been observed, which is exactly what you’d expect with CO2 increasing. It would be astounding to find out otherwise.

It doesn’t matter what other properties CO2 could possibly have; that is AGW, and that is going to really be terrible for all of humanity.

And that is what I have heard nothing but lies about from the GOP for years now.

if it’s so simple why don’t people believe it?….facts don’t matter, perception does…if you lay a bunch of science on some idiot then tell them to cough up trillions to hedge the problem, they will laugh at you and call you names….whatever AGW agents have done it didn’t work
