Which was stupid. Obama gave them a win. If they’d taken the rules as he set them up, where the birth control coverage mandate was off the table, but insurance companies could still approach women directly without involving the religious employer at all, the GOP could have gone around crowing about how they preserved religious liberty and kept the Dems from forcing the issue of birth control, or something.

Instead they let Limbaugh set the tone and the RWNJs followed him off a cliff into cuckoo land.
