For the record I wouldn’t be surprised if they did use “burners”, not to start the fire on purpose but to smoke the guy out with a stronger gas canister. If the canister caused the fire, then shit happens to some extent.

Now if they used the “burners” to intentionally start a fire and burn the guy out, that’s another story. While I wouldn’t put it past the LAPD (sorry no love for them whatsoever) I don’t believe the San Bernardino sheriffs would do something like that with that intent.

I doubt it too. However, that audio recording of someone shouting “Burn this motherfucker down!” over the police scanner doesn’t look good.
