Forced ultrasounds are ridiculous, unnecessary, and invasive, but I can’t equate them to rape. As for letting a doctor put something inside me against my will, I have to get a medically unnecessary pelvic exam and pap smear every year in order to get birth control pills, but no one is calling that rape..

You’re missing the point. This isn’t about the ultrasound procedure. It’s about forcing women to undergo a needless procedure at their own expense. There is no good reason to force a transvaginal ultrasound on a woman unless you want to slut shame her or force her to spend money she might not have so you can interfere with her rights.

These are deliberate barriers and methods of slut shaming women so that the ranting lunatics in the pro-life movement can control a woman’s life.
