I was in my teens in the late 60s. I don’t remember that kind of talk being as open as it is now. And of course, the ‘net feeds it, so it makes it more predominant. That is a change that I am talking about. And of course Fox News and wingnut radio all makes the problems more glaring.

Plus, I am not trying to be definitive, just talking about how it all feels. It feels different to me.

There’s a bit of that expat talk from the losing side after every contentious election. Few actually punch their ticket. If we fall, there is no place to go.
