I think it’s worth it: I was just looking at my desk lamp: which for various reasons, I leave burning 24/7. Because of the low harp on the lamp, I had to use 40W appliance bulbs. Which I had to replace every few months. I realize the LED bulb presently in there has been on for 11 months straight, and is probably going to last another year or so more.

Yes, Mr. President Fuckstain, sometimes regulations (or even sponsored suggestions) ARE worth it….

Most of the lights in my house are T4 fluorescent tubes. Both bedrooms have incandescent sockets which have the mini-florescent tubes. The front porch has a 15W incandescent (amazing how much light you get out of that when it’s dark).

My ceiling fan has two 4W fluorescent lights (we primarily use that as a night light and sometimes as the regular room light). The back porch has two 150W flood lamps and the basement one 300W incandescent. Most of the time those last two aren’t used.
