Rwanda has undergone rapid industrialisation since the genocide there, with a dramatic increase in incomes. That said, per capita income is very low compared to the USA.

It is a bit over US$2,200 now, up from around $400 in 1994.

I was being facetious, but it is good to see that they place an emphasis on being world citizens.
