They are guilty of being stupid.

It is true they should not have gone. Clearly, they were not armed (they would have shot back) so the only conclusion is that they were summarily executed.

It is clear they did not deserve to be murdered and it is also true the religious site should not have been desecrated.

I wonder why that happened?

What I don’t understand is why some people assume that it’s “normal” for the Palestinians to murder any Jew that happens to cross their path.
