If our government were tyrannical, then perhaps. But our government is democratically, legally and fairly elected. There have been glitches, there are massive imperfections in the system, but it is far, far, far removed from the sort of tyranny that would begin to justify use of force against it.

That is the point that the TP people like to overlook: the only government they see as legal is the one that they would agree with, the one that Grover Norquist said he wanted to “drown in a bathtub”

Ah yes, don’t you get it? A government that forces the civil rights of others upon us is tyrannical. People shouldn’t have to go to the same grocery store as people who don’t look like them or worship like them, or want to inter-marry with anyone not like them. Children should not be taught about sex or differing lifestyles. Any idea a parent doesn’t want in their head should not be put there by public schools. Parents don’t pay their tax money for education that goes against their beliefs or morals.

Obviously, you don’t understand tyranny.
