If you can afford it these are really nice. The problem with chains is, of course, putting them on and taking them off. Look for something that that is less likely to tangle, even better if you can find something you can attach without having to reach into the wheel well. Important tip: Practice putting them on before you get on the mountain where fingers get wet and cold easily. Practice a couple times in your drive way.

Now those look like something reliable. Non interference with ABS is critical. Maybe as summer comes i can get a better price. The odds of another snowstorm here this season are slim. Being forced to turn away from a good chance to get footage I need was kind of a burn at the time. D_L and I were very careful. It’s creepy to feel ABS kick in with very light braking.

That same night on the same highway a lady went over the edge in her trucks hit her head and spent a cold night 300 ft down a cliffside. She was rescued the next morning. I’m glad we flinched and came back.
