Radicalism breeds radicalism. I’ve been saying that here for years. Pushing the pendulum past the center is just building momentum for the backswing. I would never advocate violence to get political retribution, ideas and words are all the ammunition you’ll ever need. But when someone makes a living of running around kicking hornets nests, they’re asking for trouble.

Given the increased radicalism over the past 40 years, I have to wonder if closed primaries are the bane of our system.
