No, it’s for target shooting. Anyone who used that sort of ‘bumpfire’ device to shoot another person would find likely themselves up on charges, even if they were justified. Cops and prosecutors don’t like devices like that and they’d use it as evidence of a ‘Rambo mentality’. If one wants such a device, the rifle associated with it should be kept partially disassembled in a locked case or safe unless it is being taken out for target shooting. Keep a different, more defensible gun for self-defense.
