The NRA-types are coming from a 1950’s position thinking that all those carrying a firearm will be trained (at some point in their lives) in a military or law enforcement type mind-set to follow the chain-of-command. They honestly think that an armed citizenry of 2012 will sit-tight, wait for orders and not just start shooting.

As usual, conservatives are the last to recognize change.

You still hung up on that “well-regulated militia” clause? Move on already, that’s so 18th century!!! Nowadays it’s all about the “shall not be infringed” part.
