I mean I know there’s a difference between traditional/conservative Japanese culture and popular Japanese culture, but popular Japanese culture probably gives their women slightly more wiggle room than American can, but as usual for things we wouldn’t even say we want, like the freedom to cheat on your husband or to read porn that we’d consider near illegal.
