I agree with you. I disagreed with Ronald Reagan about many things, but when he withdrew the Marines from Beirut, I thought that was a sensible move for the sake of the Marines’ safety.

He should have withdrawn them before the bombing. It was pointless for us to have been there to begin with. But 20/20 and all.
