It’s hard to know how much to panic. It seems silly to start talking about Nazi Germany, brownshirts, and concentration camps. OTOH, I suspect the Germans of the 1930s also thought it was silly to talk about that shit, too.

I would not panic as much as I would have a handful of contingency plans. Donald Trump and Vlad & The Kremlin Crew have between themselves ticked of enough of the fascist checklist to be considered (intellectually un)armed and dangerous.

If it walks like a duck and talks like a duck, it is most likely a duck (or a damn good ripoff), IMO.
