When I moved to NM, I was offered a job there, and the same job in a small town. Pay was the same. Cost three times as much to live in Santa Fe. I think they’ve raised the minimum wage there since. But these were not minimum wage jobs. A little more.

Visited there once, met some locals, real estate agents and wholesale crystal dealers (not the meth, the esoteric kind).

They literally had a whole room full of shelves stacked with crystals of all shapes and sized (and purportedly of all healing/nurturing/enlightening powers)
