I stopped caring about listening to their alleged concerns after they voted to put the POS in the Oval Office. They got caught up in his celebrity and his bombastic rhetoric and forgot to look at “the man behind the curtain.” If they’re now disappointed and are discovering he lied to them and they have lots to lose if his policies are implemented, it’s their own d*mn fault.

Except, as long as the EC exists, we need to get these voters in order to win elections since the Bernie diehards are worthless. We cannot stop voter suppression until we control White House again. So we need them. If they were the only ones harmed by his policies, I might agree with you — but we are all being harmed. You don’t win voters by insulting them (unless you are Donald Trump). It is certainly possible that if Clinton had not described half of his supporters as deplorable (true though it was), the outcome would have been different.

But again, many of these people had seen no improvement in their lives under Obama and figured Clinton would be more of the same. So they rolled the dice and we all lost.
