You’re expanding the question beyond the reach of my post. My main point was that the key to a mass killing is in the mind of the killer, and used an example to illustrate that fact.

But the key to the “efficiency” of the mass killer is often what type of weapons he can easily obtain. If a kitchen knife and chainsaw are the best he can do, he’s gonna have a very hard time killing a lot of people quickly. And he won’t be able to harm anyone more than 2 feet away. Unless he has the knife throwing skills of Bronco Billy, a fictional character.

So much of the pro-gun arguments are based on the exploits of John Wayne and Clint Eastwood in fictional portrayals of American manhood. But in the movies, the good guys always draw faster and their aim is always true. If only the chairborne “soldiers” out there could figure this out, and move past an adolescent conception of human interaction.
