An engineer looking at the damage can give you a good idea of what they were doing. Traffic school isn’t going to fix this one.

Porsches are pretty light cars, you don’t down a light pole with one unless you’re moving really goddamned fast, and reports are they hit a tree first, so retaining enough energy to down the pole after that means they were really moving. Judging by the condition of the car the real miracle is that they didn’t kill anybody else. It’s hard not to conclude this was the result of inexcusably reckless behavior.
