I think blacks have been pretty good at seeing through BS to tell the difference between sucking up and actually caring. She’s not cozying up to get their vote. She’s cozying up to show that she’ll continue the work he’s been doing.

I think she’s shown genuine leadership on the issue. He’s the one who comes off as pandering to me more. It’s funny but even though his policies are a lot more on paper radical than hers, I find hers a lot more inclusive. An acquaintance of mine who’s involved with disability issues has posted a lot on her meeting with groups on that matter. I think he really thinks he just can point ot his voting record and think that alone will get people to vote for him and it’s worked for some but not me.
