Not talking about the issues. I’m talking about him insisting that we listen to his vision of the party’s future for a party he has no desire to join. That may not be an issue to you but it bothers a lot of people. By all means, he should talk about those issues. I welcome that but he should either join the party or shut up about it if he’s going to insist that we’re not “listening” to the white middle class enough.
I think his focus on the white middle class had more to do with winning rust-belt states (MI, WI, PA) than his being a bigot.
And if Bernie did ‘shut up’ like so many Democrats seem to want him to, then who would speak up? Boxer’s also retired. Schumer? Feinstein?
