I wish all of you a good and safe holiday weekend. We’re saving for a vacation, so no gifts this year, just food. I’m going all out with turkey and ham and all the good stuff that goes with it. Gifts to family have been minimal. No decorations, nada.

I feel oddly light and less stressed. I told The Kid if he had a friend who was alone to invite them over, no takers so far. We’ll see.
