And of course Shaun King wants us to “thank” Bernie because “Bernie was right about Northam.” Uh no, he refused to back him because of economic reasons. Not reasons that had anything to do with his views on social issue. As a former Perriello campaigner, it enrages me that King is trying to use this to pull a Bernie was right card when Bernie has his own history of racial insensitivity. If you want to argue, we should have nominated Tom, I’m there with you, I supported him, campaigned for him, and even met him. But it’s got jack shit to do with Bernie.
