What Obama is doing is perfectly rational. He needs billions of dollars to nationalize health care. A carbon tax is just the ticket for that. And thanks to Gore, a high percentage of he population believes that CO2 is killing the planet, and endangering our existence. It’s the perfect political storm justifying much higher new taxes.

Looks like they’re mulling over a soft drink tax. I’m pretty sure that might be extended into other snack type foods.
