re: #252 Sol Berdinowitz
Most of our Christmas traditions come from Europe, for chrissakes. And nobody here makes any bones about the Christian traditions associated with it.
Last year I saw a car driving around Frankfurt with an eight-foot gold menorah strapped to the roof and two Hassidic Jews at the wheel. Pulled right up next to me in traffic, I was rocking out to “Highway to Hell” on the car radio, they smiled and seemed to enjoy it as well…
I’m glad to hear that some Jews in Europe are ignoring the wingnut meme spreading around that “Jews in Europe have to hide their Judaism in public!”
